Joe Lovano and PRISM Quartet Premiere “Forbidden Drive” June 3 and 4 in Philly and NYC
A special invitation to all of my New York City and Philadelphia friends to attend the world premiere of my just-completed composition, “Forbidden Drive,” featuring the incomparable Joe Lovano as tenor soloist with the PRISM Quartet. The program also features the premiere of Joe’s epic new work, “Super Sonix.” Plus the premiere of “Refraction” by Reiny Rolock, winner of the PRISM/Walden School Young Composer Commissioning Award. And a repeat performance of one of PRISM’s favorites: “Night Music” by Emma O’Halloran. June 3rd at Painted Bride Art Center. June 4th at (le) poisson rouge. Complete info at www.prismquartet.com.
