Joining The Crossing choir in Nicholas Cline’s “Watersheds”
November 21st @ 5 PM in Philadelphia, I join Donald Nally and the sublime Grammy-winning The Crossing to perform Nicholas Cline‘s breath-taking Watersheds for chamber choir, tenor sax, and electronics, with a commercial recording to follow. The piece is haunting and otherworldly, “fueled by the words of eloquent, outspoken environmental thinkers on how our shared spaces are created not by political borders, but by the flow of water.” Also on the program, world premieres by Justine F. Chen and Gabriel Kahane.
