Producer / Engineer

A member of the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy, Matt maintains a post-production studio where he edits, mixes, and masters professional recordings using industry standard platforms, including Pro Tools, Cuebase, and Wavelab, and a host of top plug-ins and external processors. He brings the skills of an accomplished performing artist and music theoretician with the ability to analyze highly complex music to his audio engineering work.

Matt also executive- and session-produces recording projects, and regularly works in tandem with leading session engineers and studios in New York City and Philadelphia, including Brooklyn Recording, Elm Street Studios, Rittenhouse Soundworks, Sine Studios, Whitewater Productions, Retro City Studios, Milkboy the Studio, and The Bunker.

He has produced recordings for Innova Recordings, Albany Records, 240 Films, City Story Pictures, Big Picture Alliance, Ethnovision, and the PRISM Quartet’s label, XAS Records, which he founded in 2016.

Matt is certified by Apple to master recordings for iTunes (MFiT), ensuring  the highest-quality audio for one of the world’s leading music outlets.
